Evangeline: Hi it's Evangeline from etrailer.com and today we are looking at the Rightline Gear Moki door step here on our 2009 Subaru Forester. Now, this is a great tool to have in your car or in your garage whenever you need to reach up on your roof, to clear out snow, attach bike racks, attach accessories, or a cargo carrier like what we have here. On our Forester we have this factory roof rack as well as our cargo carrier. So what that means is that I need to reach up there and put stuff in. I might be installing accessories on my roof rack on my Forester here. So I need to get up there.So the best way to do that is with this door step and on our Subaru, if I put it into the back wheel, because there is that slope from the wheel well, it does have a bit of an angle, which is fine because there's rubber behind there, so it's secure, it's safe. more

Malone Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek MPG2112-2115- Video

Today on our 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek we're going to be test fitting the Malone Pilot 4-bike rack, part number MPG2112-2115. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. Now the most prominent feature about this bike rack is the fact that it can tilt away from the vehicle with all four bikes still attached to gain rear hatch access. To do that, come up to the front here where we have this pin, loosen that up, lift up a little bit on the bike rack itself, and then you notice that it actually doesn't come down. That's because there's a catch up at the front to make sure that doesn't happen so it doesn't come down too fast on you once you release the pin. Instead, you just pull out like so, and now it tilts down. more

Yakima Roof Rack Fairing Review - 2008 Subaru Legacy- Video

Today on our 2008 Subaru Legacy, well be test fitting part number Y07048. This is the 44-inch Fairing for Yakima Roof Rack Crossbars. Now weve already pre-assembled our fairing, so were ready to fit it to the vehicle. All we need to do is slide the clips over our front crossbar, allowing our fairing to conform to the roofline. Well then make sure that its centered with the vehicle where we can then run the carriage bolt through from the top and tighten it down using the wing nut. Just like that, our fairing is installed and were ready to head out on the road with a quieter roof rack system. more
